People in Lowyat.net forum call Yang Berbahagia Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim “Answer” because he seems to be the answer to our country’s most recent mess. And because it rhymes. Which is the same reason they call Yang Berhormat Ahmad Shabery Cheek (Minister of Information) “Strawberry”.

Anyway, they were debating about the pros and cons of increased petrol price in Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka. Astro Awani (channel 501) also did a live broadcast, allowing us to catch the action comfortably at home.

Then again, there’s nothing much about it. Some professor of politic keep commenting “it’s interesting” when asked about his opinion regarding the debate. I think it’s a polite way of saying “i have no idea what’s going on.”

Answer answered and strawberry lived up to its name: fancy shiny outlook with soft vulnerable core. Even before leaving defeated, strawberry launches itself towards the answer, in a splat-style kamikaze attempt to bring down the obvious winner.

No, Shabery didn’t jump on Anwar with a pocket knife. What I meant was, Shabery resorted to personal attacks like bringing up Anwar’s political history.

I’m just glad there’s no more road blocks and heavily congested traffic. Hmm. Wait. Could there be more to come?
